Sweta Kaneria, an artist deeply connected to her surroundings, explores the beauty of both natural and man-made objects weathered by time. Her artwork reflects a seamless interplay between realism and abstraction, using abstract structures to convey a sense of movement. Fascinated by geometric shapes within objects, Sweta sees their co-existence as a singular entity. Raised in a place adorned with nature's beauty and old architecture, her recent works delve into memories and the evolving landscape, juxtaposing old and new elements. Sweta's medium of choice, gouache and tempera on silk cloth and paper, captures the essence of her unique artistic vision.
