Modern Art Gallery (MAG), established in 2011, was founded in a heritage building next to the Kashmere Gate Monument, on the fringe of the Walled City of Shahajahanabad. Our gallery is committed to showcasing a diverse array of artists, with a particular focus on emerging talents from India. In 2018, we expanded our reach by opening a second location in the diplomatic enclave of Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

At MAG, we pride ourselves on our integrity, continued commitment, and dedication to curation and building a vibrant art community. We serve as a vital artistic interlocutor for the public, especially in Central and North Delhi.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of collaborating with some of India’s finest artists across generations. Our gallery features works by masters such as Lalu Prasad Shaw, Jogen Chowdhury, and M.F. Husain. We have also maintained strong relationships with renowned senior artists including Thota Vaikuntam, Subrata Gangopadhyay, Shyamal Mukherjee, Paritosh Maity, Vijender Sharma, Biplab Biswas, Laxma Goud, and Ramesh Gorjala, whose works have gained international acclaim.
