She was the Runnerup at "IndianPrintMakerhouse" in 2021. Workshops & Residences - Space Studio Baroda Residency 2021 - Student Biennale in association with Kochi–Muziris Biennale,Visakhapatnam Pooja's art of storytelling defies gravity and creates and overlap of fantasy and self introspection. She sketches memories of unidentified faces and undefined experiences on paper that she creates with pigments of mud, leaf and ash blended with cotton pulp. Her work metaphorically describes the city life, the daily perplexities and the chaos that surrounds us. Pooja's repetitive strokes reinforce the internal conflicts of her subjects. Fascinated by the "bazaar" she draws her inspiration from hawkers, vendors, wanderers and their routines and practices. With keen interest in the rhythm of the daily cycle, Pooja's art is a tale of how these workers help in the functioning of city life. Pooja's canvas is a pictorial display of the process of shaping one's life inspite of the various complexities and how one's mood, emotion and environment may no synchronize.
