Karthik achieved his MFA in 2015 from IKSVV, Khairagarh. In addition to receiving the R.M. Hadpadh Scholarship and Karnatak Lalit Academy Scholarship in 2010 & 2011, he was also awarded The Kala Sakshi scholarship in 2014 and 2016 by the Ministry of Culture, New Delhi honoured him as well. He has participated in various exhibitions in India namely the Chandra Ilango Art Exhibition in 2012 and 2014, CIMA award show in 2015, 58th National Exhibition of Art in 2017 and many more. Amongst his numerous group exhibitions, he has also been a part of the Urban Avantgarde-Graphite in 2012, Desi Art Group Show at Ken School of Art in 2012. One of Karthik V's numerous awards is the All-India Silver Medal Award Drawing by the Prafulla Art Foundation in 2017. Karthik has participated in multiple International Print Biennials. The Goa Collection and Bangalore Collection are two of Karthik's notable works.
Karthik firmly believes that artistic ideas are the key solution to various contemporary problems. By travelling many cultural hotspots, he has captured their soul and essence with his artistic strokes. Karthik wishes to combine primitive and modern methods and elevate the pride and honour of art.
