Durgesh Bithare is a contemporary abstract artist from Madhya Pradesh, India. He was born on February 23, 1985 in Dhar, a city known for its historical and cultural heritage. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Govt. Fine Art College, Dhar in 2006 and his Master of Fine Arts from Govt. Fine Art College, Indore in 2009. He is currently working as a faculty in the painting department of Govt. Institute of Fine Arts, Jabalpur.

Bithare's paintings are inspired by nature and its changing colors and forms. He creates landscapes using layers of dots that do not form any specific shape but rather express the fluidity and movement of nature. He uses colors in different ways to achieve a sense of depth and illusion in his paintings. He does not intend to convey any message through his paintings, but rather to feel nature in his own way.

Bithare has exhibited his paintings in several solo and group shows across India. Some of his notable solo shows are "The Inner Core" at Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal in 2015 and "Colour's of Dhar" at Chhatre Art Gallery, Dhar in 2014. He has also participated in two-man shows such as "Seeing The Unseen" at Rainbow Art Gallery, Hyderabad in 2017 and "Road Show" for Art, Dhar in 2010. He has received several awards and recognitions for his paintings, such as the M.P. State Rupankan Award [Sayed Haider Raza Award] by Ustad Alauddin Khan Kala Evam Sangeet Academy at Khajuraho in 2022 and the M.P. State Award for Painting & Fellowship by Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation Mumbai in 2018. He has also participated in various national and international art exhibitions and camps, such as the 61st National Exhibition of Art Lalit Kala Academy New Delhi in 2020 and the International Mural Painters Camp Kottayam, Kerala in 2013.
