Born in 1993, Chetana Vagh completed her diploma in painting in 2018 from CN College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad and her Post diploma in Visual Arts from Faculty of Fine Arts, MS University, Baroda. Deeply inspired by the Construction of village houses, intricate engraving on windows and doors, wall designs and slogans, Chetna Vagh's works voice the untold stories of these villages. With spontaneity, Chetana enlivens her canvas using a myriad of hues, prints and newspaper. She presents the theme of "create to destroy" or "destroy to create". It reflects her failures being a source of encouragement that have helped create some of her best paintings.
